A Primitive Stump Doll

Mille is my smaller stump doll, inspired by the make-do dolls of earlier eras. The "stump" name derives from the fact that many of these dolls were made from chunks of wood, though Millie is cloth. She’s also stuffed only in bits and pieces of leftover fabrics. Her attire is of vintage fabrics and her neck-piece is an aged piece of scrim. Millie, like any well-loved doll who has been through a lot, is aged deeply. She is nine inches tall.
